Dave White is a featured speaker

For the second consecutive year, Dave White was a featured speaker at the 2010 EEOC Technical Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS) held in Kansas City on July 22, 2010.  Dave spoke on the recent developments in employment law.  TAPS is an annual education seminar presented by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Dave White on KCUR

On August 3, 2010, Dave White was a guest on National Public Radio Station KCUR’s Walt Boldine’s show.  Dave, along with other panelists, discussed the impact, of the Americans With Disabilities Act on the law and society.

Employer wins racial discrimination case

In November of 2009, Patricia Mullins defended Avcorp Business Systems in a racial discrimination lawsuit brought by a short-term employee who felt he was treated unfairly as a result of his race.  The jury in Kansas City, Kansas unanimously returned a verdict in favor of the employer.

Trial Success!

In July 2010, Jackie Sexton successfully defended Parkway Bank of Rogers, Arkansas in a trial brought by two former bank officers concerning their allegations of breaking of promises made to them at the time of their hiring.   The jury in Bentonville, Arkansas returned a unanimous verdict in favor of the bank.
