Michael Belancio

Michael Belancio has an array of litigation experience at the trial and appellate levels, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His experience encompasses personal injury, criminal defense, trucking, construction, surety, insurance, government liability, police misconduct and special education issues on behalf of children with disabilities.

In 2006, 2007 and 2011, Michael was named "Best of the Bar" in the Kansas City Business Journal.

In 2009, Michael was awarded the Warren Welliver award by sections of the Missouri Bar.

In 2010 and 2011, Michael was named a Kansas and Missouri "Super Lawyer" by a law and politics peer review polling to identify the top 5% of lawyers in Kansas and Missouri.

Community Involvement

Michael is the Vice-Chair of The Board of Directors of Missouri Parents Act (MPACT), a non-profit organization that strives to ensure that all children with special needs receive an education which allows them to achieve their personal goals.
