Lauren Perkins Allen

Lauren Perkins Allen joined the firm in 2010. Lauren has been admitted to practice law in state and federal courts across the country. She is a former partner of a law firm specializing in products liability litigation and other complex litigation matters where she worked diligently to secure verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. Following her graduation from law school, Lauren worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable J.D. Williamson, Jr. of the 16th Judicial Circuit. While in law school, she was selected to represent victims of domestic violence and advocate on their behalf in Missouri trial courts. Her passion is to be in the courtroom and her dedication to trial work.

Of Note

In 2010, Lauren was recognized as one of the Kansas City Business Journal's "Best of the Bar" which is peer-reviewed honor. Lauren was selected as the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Young Lawyer of the Year in 2009. The award recognizes excellence in legal accomplishments, professionalism and community service. She was also named a Rising Star of the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2011, which only consists of up to 2.5% of the attorneys in each state.

Lauren previously served as the District 22 Representative for Missouri and Kansas on the American Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Division National Council and as a Kansas City Representative on The Missouri Bar's YLS Council. In 2007, she was given YLS Chairperson's Award for her outstanding service to The Missouri Bar. Currently, Lauren serves on the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Board of Directors and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys' Board of Governors.

Community Involvement

Lauren volunteers her time as Past President of the Vanderbilt Kansas City Alumni Chapter and sits on the Community Endowment Committee of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also a member of the Friends of the Kansas City Public Library and Society of Fellows at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
