Jacqueline Sexton

Jackie Sexton has been with the firm since 2001 and is a shareholder. Jackie has tried cases in the state courts of Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas as well as in the federal court system. Jackie is a 2007 graduate of the advanced IADC trial academy. In 2009, Jackie was selected by her peers as a "Missouri and Kansas Rising Star" and she was listed in the Super Lawyers publication. While she has experience handling a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, products liability, business tort, and insurance cases, her practice currently focuses largely on the handling of employment-related disputes, such as claims for race, sex, age, religious, disability, and national origin discrimination brought under the various civil rights laws. In the employment context, Jackie also handles matters involving employment contracts, covenants not to compete, and severance agreements. Jackie further enjoys spending her time providing training and counseling to companies on employment law issues. In addition to her work with employers, Jackie has experience defending companies facing discrimination claims in the commercial and retail contexts as well.
