Jim Foland focuses his practice on the resolution and trial of civil matters. He has served as lead trial counsel in more than 150 jury trials involving a broad range of personal injury and commercial cases, including products liability, medical and legal malpractice, business torts, employment discrimination, insurance and contractual disputes. Jim has tried cases in numerous state and federal courts and acts as regional or national counsel for a variety of organizations. He has published and spoken on numerous trial topics.
OF NOTE
Jim is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is past President of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and the Western Missouri/ Eastern Kansas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in which he holds the distinction of Diplomat. He is the recipient of the 2003 Ben Ely, Jr. Award as the Best Defense Lawyer in Missouri. Jim served on the Board of Editors of the Denver Law Journal. Jim was admitted to the academic honorary society of the Order of St. Ives.
