Paul Wickens has served as lead trial counsel in numerous cases involving product liability claims, antitrust, business or commercial, personal injury, and a variety of first and third party insurance coverage and bad faith suits. His trial experience includes litigation at both state and federal levels throughout
the Midwest, having been the lead trial counsel in approximately 100 jury trials.
Recently, Paul's practice emphasis has been the defense of catastrophic injury
cases, as well as acting as regional and national products liability and
litigation counsel for a number of companies in the United States and
internationally. Paul has been a frequent speaker at regional and national
litigation seminars.

OF NOTE
Paul has served as a founder and first President of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Missouri state representative to the Defense Research Institute, and past-President of the Western Missouri Defense Lawyers. He is the past-Chair of the Products Liability Section of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and a National Board Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is currently listed in Who's Who in American Law. Paul was the recipient of the 2000-2001 Ben Ely Award from the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers as the outstanding Missouri defense attorney. Paul is currently recognized by lawyer peer review publications including BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA, SUPER LAWYERS IN MISSOURI AND KANSAS, and BEST OF THE BAR by (Kansas City Business Journal). Paul has also been elected to membership as a Fellow in the American Bar Foundation.
