Patricia "Peezy" Mullins' practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and defense of residential care facilities. Peezy also works with residential care facilities in ensuring regulatory compliance and in the drafting of admissions
materials policy, procedure and marketing materials that are consistent
with applicable federal and state regulations. Peezy has represented both
plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of matters, including insurance defense,
personal injury, civil rights and employment litigation.
Of Note
Peezy was awarded Second Place in the Commercial Law League of America writing competition. Peezy is the 2007 chair of the KCMBA nursing home committee. She is also active with the Association of Women's Lawyers. Peezy served as a volunteer Guardian Ad-Litem and is actively involved in the KCMBA and AWL Public Service Committees. She is also active with the Women's Political Caucus.
