Amy Coopman is a civil litigator, principally representing plaintiffs in employment related disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, FMLA and FLSA rights and employment agreement violations. Amy also provides counseling and training to employers on employment law issues. Amy has success- fully litigated numerous employment cases in federal and state court. She is devoted to helping her clients achieve fairness and justice in the workplace. Amy enjoys lecturing at seminars for attorneys and human resources personnel on current employment law topics. Of Note Amy is a recipient of the James T. Mize Trial Advocacy Award for Graduate with Most Promise for Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession as a Trial Advocate. She also served as a teaching assistant in trial advocacy. She is a National Merit Scholar, a member of the University of Kansas Moot Court Team and Phi Beta Kappa. Amy was also the publication editor for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.
